           Consistent with Local, State, and Federal guidelines Rix Pool, Spa & Sauna Swimming Pool and Hot Tub products, services, and retail operations are considered essential and exempt from the stay-at-home requirements outlined in Governor Murphy’s NJ Executive Order 107, effective 3/21/2020.

The primary reasons are that the products and services offered by Pool and Spa Professionals are considered to be critical to protecting the health and safety of our communities:

• Whether serviced by a pool/spa professional, an on-site staff member at a facility, or the homeowner; the filtration and sanitizing systems we care for, install, and maintain are necessary to safeguard bodies of water against water-born illnesses, infectious diseases and pest infestations.

• Bodies of water that are left uncared for become stagnant and breeding grounds for water-born illnesses, infectious diseases and pest infestations.

• The mitigating factors we’ve considered when deciding to continue to provide on-site services are:

• Pool service professionals often work alone or in pairs and can complete their jobs without physical interactions with homeowners or commercial pool managers. … perform their work in open air environments without interaction with property owners …

• Our crews are equipped with the necessary PPE and sanitizers. They will be following ‘common sense good practices’ and social distancing guidelines to work safely, minimizing the risk to each other and the general public.

Regarding our Showroom/Retail operations:

• We’ve implemented curbside services for chemicals, parts, and most other items.

• If you’re seeking an Above Ground Pool, Hot Tub or Sauna Room

• we’re well stocked and will be happy to meet with you by appointment.
