Seasonal Helper

Position Overview

An entry level position to work with a trained mechanic to open and close pools. 

Essential Job Functions

·         Assist mechanic with pool openings and closings

·         Load parts and chemicals on the vehicle

·         Able to lift up to 70 lbs.

Non-Essential Job Functions

·         Ability to follow instructions

·         Drive company vehicle

Requirements

·         No prior experience required

·         Attention to detail

·         Ability to multitask

·         Team player

·         A valid drivers’ license with a clean driving record

 

Other Skills/Abilities

·         Ability to work as a team and accept direction

·         Ability retain information and processes

Mechanic

Position Overview

Requires a mechanical background and can perform pool openings and closings, all equipment repairs and replacements.  

Essential Job Functions

·         Assist mechanic with pool openings and closings

·         Perform acid washes and pressure washing and Deck-O-Seal

·         Manage a valet route

·         Perform repairs and replacements of: pump, motor, seal replacement, cleaner maintenance, filter grid replacement, plumbing leaks, salt systems heaters, filters and remote control systems.

·         Measure for safety covers.

·         Load work vehicle with appropriate stock daily

·         Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Non-Essential Job Functions

·         Ability to give direction to helper/junior mechanics

·         Perform simple cover installations

·         Perform Spa openings, closings and minor repairs

·         Drive company vehicle

Requirements

·         APSP CPS accreditation

·         Attention to detail

·         Ability to multitask

·         Team player

·         A valid drivers’ license with a clean driving record

 

Other Skills/Abilities

·         Ability to work as a team, teach and provide feedback to junior staff

·         Ability to work autonomously with minimal guidance

·         Successful completion of the on-line training program assigned
